Griffith Valuation The Griffith Valuation can be very useful in Genealogy to trace a family from 1858 up to about 1930, that is if you know where they lived between these dates. It list who "rented" a property and land at the time. The Map Ref refers to a plot number on a map that was commissioned at the time, but due to the number of people who have fingered the map since then, the original is now in very poor condition. Over the next year I intend to transfer all the details of this map to a new copy.
